TCU Football Posts Fourth Straight Top-15 Ranking

Well, the college football season has come to an end and the final polls have been released. The Frogs finished ranked 13th by the USA Today and 14th by the Associated Press. TCU is one of just four schools (Alabama, Boise State and Oregon) to finish in the top 15 of both major polls over the last four seasons. That is impressive.

I think most TCU fans expected a rebuilding year this season, and that is what we saw early on. This team played better down the stretch though and for them to finish in the top 15 of both polls is really something to be proud of. Gary Patterson did a good job of growing this young team up and they will head into the Big 12 with an eight game winning streak, the second longest in the nation.

The Horned Frogs will return 13 starters (seven defensive, six offensive) when they begin Big 12 play this fall and it should be very interesting. New stadium, new conference, but the Frogs will continue to do what they do best. WIN.
