Keys to the Game for Frogs vs. La-Tech

The much anticipated Poinsettia Bowl is now only days away… TCU should take care of business against Louisiana Tech, but there is always the chance of an upset. Here are my keys to the game for the Frogs to ensure they emerge victorious.

Don’t take La-Tech lightly. Even though they aren’t a known team, they still have some talent. The Frogs have to come out fired up and jump on them early. If the Bulldogs are able to keep it close, it will only give them extra motivation.

Contain the pass. We all know the passing game has cause TCU problems all season. It will be tested again against Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs average 247 yards per game through the air. On the flip side, La-Tech QB Nick Isham has been sacked 19 times and thrown 7 interceptions. If the Frogs can get pressure, they will be ok.

Protect the ball. TCU RB’s had some fumbling issues in the last couple of games. TCU can’t afford to turn the ball over. If the Frogs win the turnover battle, they win the game.
